In preparation for the tranny change, I purchased the HCF-2 Honda Genuine fluid along with a new crush washer for the plug. I removed the plug underneath to drain the fluid and waited a good 30 minutes just to be sure it was all evacuated. Then, I put the plug back in with the new crush washer and removed the check level plug on the side.
