Dexcom transmitter not pairing

Changed transmitter 29 Oct; it connected to my t:slim pump just fine, and it has communicated with the pump since. It does not want to pair with the app on my Google Pixel 3a running Android 12. I called Dexcom about 5 Nov and after the usual reboot the phone, reset Bluetooth, re-install the app "fixes", they sent me a new transmitter and sensor.
