Just my thoughts, your laptop monitor is bad. Graphics card sounds fine, this is an issue with your laptop screen, or internal connection to the screen, not the graphics card unable to render. Is the laptop under warranty? If so, reach out to Lenovo. If it's out of warranty, it's going to require a tech to order/replace the screen.
